Mine works with the Hub. I bought them together. I push a button on the remote and I see the little led on the hub blink.

Setup went ok for me. It occasionally won't respond via Alexa, but works 99% of the time. Buttons are really small tho.

I don't, we ended up using a sideclick with a Roku, but that's a very simple/limited device compared to this. It works best for us due to varying technical​ skill levels in my household.

I have an older model logitech remote - don't know number - but its one with a small lcd and can program. Do you have other recommendation, I am sure elite is good but too expensive Repped to both...

Yes, it controls up to 8 devices. If you have more than 8 devices where you want a single remote I'd look at one of the higher end models.

I just checked and its still $58 for pickup and $79 if you opt for ship to home maybe YMMv try set your default walmart location to 30024
