This is Last years model this years model will have Dolby Vision and HDR 10 plus full array although it has not come out yet but it will be soon

With the TCL P series at $650 and the H9D+ at $600 is the TCL still a better value? Seems H9D+ is 120hz but TCL has Dolby Vision.

I got a 55" H8C for $479 and i absolutely love this TV for its price. Off center viewing angles are poor, but its smart tv apps have been flawless -- picture quality is much better then i expected....

If I was going to buy this I might as well add 200 and get the 65in. It's sold at pcrichrad. I own a hisense and I'm pleased with it for use in my bedroom. No way I'd have one in my living room...

According to rtings review of the H8C, they use Opera TV. Their review of the Sharp N7000U says that has Opera TV as well. Hisense also has a Roku TV series now too - R6D.

Pretty sure it does have dolby vision as their 2016 8 series had both HDR formats (and later 3rd added by firmware update)

I inquired on that. They wanted to push a thinner panel via customer feedback. That was only possible going edge lit. It is edge lit all 4 sides which most 4k panels that are edge lit are only 2...

Agreed. Tcl p series at best buy $600. Amazing value. All the bells and whistles less 120hz screen. I need a 65" though

The Hisense would be nice if the TCL wasn't around. That TCL tv is the best value tv of the year. I hope it gets a ~$100 sale this Black Friday, because I'll be buying it if it does.
