I think there is no difference. The reason I bought the 1900x is for the 64 PCIe lanes, so I can plug in more GPUs for deep learning. I think for gaming 1 GPU is enough. 1900x needs x399...

Hmm while I don't have a use for the high core-count ones, the 1900x is kind of interesting. Does anyone know how a 1900x w/x399 platform compares to a Ryzen7 1800x in game performance?
