Water resistance is calculated by machine test in which the watch is standing still and under clean water for minimal time, then pressure will be applied in which will simulate the depth pressure....

most of the models have leather bands :lol: I would stay from the water not because it's not good for leather - but it does take long time to dry, and wet leather doesn't feel great on your arm !...
