I posted this deal last time around, the knife is very big and heavy, will probably never carry it due to this. Its also got a glossy painted coating, its not a typical black oxide. this makes the...

Decent steel, frame lock is better than liner lock, I would bite if I didn't have to buy 2 for free shipping..

I don't mind frame locks usually, but I bought this last time and it's the toughest frame lock I've ever encountered, which is bad. I can close every frame lock I own with one hand except for this...

Coldsteel knives use a stronger version of lockback called Triad lock. Spyderco also makes lockback knives that are of high quality. Of course there are the traditional Buck knives. There are many...

Thank you for the response. I haven't looked at knives for a while. Now that I have, I've been seeing those liner locks and really didn't like the design but it was seemingly impossible to find one I...

Just because it's black doesn't mean it's worse than a shiny knife. Everyone needs one tacticool knife in their collection.

I only have a few lock back knives and they don't get much use- they are also quite cheaply made and most I have seen don't have a pocket clip. Most if my liner locks have bound up if you are trying...

Anyone have an opinion on this type of locking mechanism vs the bar you release from the back, usually a half Moon cut out. Edit: looked up the proper names, lockback vs liner lock/ frame lock
