Unless you can show me otherwise, this IS the Black Friday soundbar from Insignia.
Reviews on this are not that great - lot of people saying it's hardly better than their TV speakers. Not worth...

The 316 has a 3"x5" bottom firing woofer. We have one in my daughter's room. See attached pic. We had the 318 but it kept muting itself for no reason so we exchanged for the 316 and notes how much...

Also, I don't think the 316 has a built in subwoofer. It has a subwoofer output but not built-in subwoofer. Plus, I doubt any...

the 316 is better, it has a built in subwoofer on the bottom for marginally better bass
