I picked another kit up... but I think I'm going to go well over 50 for my house including the sensors... so I'm not sure how to handle that. Perhaps a hub for each floor?

yes a hub is required for a single bulb and i would suggest jumping on this deal if you want the color options. otherwise just get the white only version with hub which can be found for half the...

I have the gen 2s and love them. I’ll probably hold out for BF personally, but if anyone can’t wait I definitely recommend picking this up.

No it was gen3 and it was legit. I never did find one though and I looked at a couple Home Depot’s. HD does clearances like this all the time, there’s an entire science around it with .06 and .03...

Gen 3. Not price mistake. Was on clearance for 100. After few weeks price went to 50. They were already almost sold out. I just happened to do return/rebuy

Were the bulbs Gen-2 or Gen-3? Unless it was a price mistake or something like that, I highly doubt that Home Depot would knowingly sell a Gen-3 kit (3 Gen-3 bulbs plus hub) on *clearance* for $50.
