Have these with Google home and Smartthings Hub. Replaced all my lights in my townhouse with these. Total cost $200, cant beat that. Now I control every light with my voice through Google Home.

I didn't. It was the wink. I bought the smarthing off of Amazon for 49.99 and just set it up and love it. Ordering more bulbs and such to use with it.

I've got a room lit with 6 BR30 bulbs. Wouldn't it just be easier to by 1 smart dimmer switch rather than 6 smart bulbs? Are there specific advantages I'm not thinking of that individual smart bulbs...

I replaced all the flood lights in my house with these. Also bought a lot of a19 as well. The light is definitely dimmer on the BR's compared to regular bulbs but even Philips hue produces similar...
