I believe this is the later version of the U2515H. They are similar specs but added HDR support, which from reviews saying the panel doesn't get bright enough for true HDR specs.

I trying using both HDMI and DP for the BenQ. I don't recall if this behavior happened on different ports. But I'll keep that in mind for my next monitor. I think I'm going to try chaining the DP...

Are you using displayport for both screens? That "adding the monitor each time it powers on" is a "feature" of displayport. It was really annoying tracking down and eliminating all the side effects...

I also bought the BenQ with the gift card deal, I've been happy with it. No image quality issues at all. I would've got this Dell had this deal came on first though, I'm a huge dell monitor Fanboy.

Don’t forget dp 2 is a DP OUT not in. For the MST on the mdp and DP1. Yes you can daisy chain these like u2515h edit : (however you can sadly only do two displays total on a 1.2 chain with mst. )
