From the earlier posts , it supports m.2 SATA and not m2 NVMe . You probably got the wrong type of SSD

I installed a Crucial MX300 M.2 SSD and it's working great. Based on my experience this laptop only takes SATA M.2 drives, not PCIe NVME drives.
