I think it is a good deal, too. The price reflects on the processor and the added RAM and ssd with HDD. The others I’ve seen are mostly Ssds only with either 8bg or 16gb with same processor....

Dunno if it was with an i7 7700hq tho. Was it? The predator from Amazon was $899, for a 1060 and i7 7700hq, I was late on that one.

I don't get it. An SSD is $90, RAM $100. Do you not own a screwdriver? Mid range video cards are like cheap toilet paper, couple spins and they're gone.

If you are only doing photo editing, and not video editing, you'll probably be fine. The rule of thumb really for laptops if you want longevity is buy best one you can afford (budget) with processor...

I agree with you, I have been looking also for i7 + 16 GB + any SSD, for less than $800, without any gimmicks or card cash. This ASUS is the first one I found with those specs. I'm not a big fan...
