Samsung burnt us with previous trade in. We were supposed to get $200 trade in credit and instead they kept our phone and just have $25 Samsung credit/ gift card.

They are offering $400 trade for an s7 on the regular price and even the S7 is worth like $100 trade in. $324 for the s8 is over 50% off and better than the carrier 50% deals with Bill credits

the deal is bad compared to previous deals, less than a month ago, i could still trade in a phone worth 70 bucks for $300 plus get something free like the wireless charger or some other stuff...

Samsung was not giving $150 for the Galaxy S5 series before, it was only $50. Also Samsung Galaxy S8+ is selling at $675 at BB, Amazon which comes out to $740 or so with tax. Unless you really care...

Not a good deal in my opinion. Unlocked S8 is available at 575 at BHP, amazon, BB. Also, Discover card nets you 5% cashback on amazon this quarter. This deal is not worth sending our phone for trade...
