Actually, you can test for free. If you download their client, it allows you to test server speeds without having an account setup. On the left menu there is a Speed Test.

There's so many vpns nowadays its hard to keep up I guess I'm old school and stick with what I know works and at a consistent price point . so I would be skeptical until you take a test drive
