You can always trial Prime for 30 days. Once a year or so. That's what I did for my BF purchases on Amazon.

M510 is $14.99 at the Best Buy 1 mile from my house. Don't have Prime so would rather take that route than pay shipping.

The only benefit of laser is that it works better on glass now, optical performance has been better than laser for a while. Not that it applies here, I doubt the polling rate goes above 125hz usb.

If you like a really small mouse then the M525 is fine. I prefer standard size like the M510.
