You can if your TV has Miracast, Wireless Display Support. All LG Smart TV with WebOS has support of it. I can just duplicate my Computer or Phone Display to my LG TV.

I would argue that a Chromecast is actually a PRICELESS investment, especially for the money. For starters, it integrates with almost everything as far as Apps and services. HBO Go. SHO anytime....
