I had to reset both of mine before they would pair. You can reset by starting with the bulb on and quickly turning it off and on 10 times. It will flash twice once its reset. Good luck.

It should just find it when you're adding a device in ST and turning on the device. That's been my experience in the past.

Yea I was going by the assumption that one owns a hub. I think I read that this one required a hub too. The hue bulbs works perfectly fine with Smart Things too if didn't know. I was being totally...

Normally I would agree with you but you need a hub to use Hue and this product you can use with your phone or Smart things. So it saves $50 for the hub. If you have the Hue hub then yes buy the Hues...

I have several of these (connected through a zigbee USB dongle) and am very happy with them. I usually get them through Amazon Warehouse for under $7.
