Definitely buy these, for starters you do not need an amp, but these last forever. I have had the game one for 2 and a half years and they sound amazing and the mic is good.

I think for this price id go with a hyperx, i didnt really like the whole boom mic, the wheel on the headphone cup and it didnt feel like a 200 dollar headset.

I use these on my computer and while they are a great headset, I feel that if you are getting these for console, you'll be better off spending a little less and getting the hyperx cloud Alphas.
