Didn't say it wouldn't work. Those PATA cables fit so tight, you often have a hard time pulling them out of the socket intentionally.

I contacted newegg. The problem should have been taken care of when it was pointed out. For a company that gets high volume referral fees for linking things, this just isn't acceptable.

You can attach the UPCs to an extra sheet of paper if needed. I do it all the time and have never had a problem.
