I used my impact for every one I've ever installed or taken down. As long as you're careful with the bolts for the hanging portion you should be fine. The 7/16 ones don't need tightened a ton....

Ok. I just installed 1st one out of 6 I ordered. Manual says DO NOT use impact driver. No way in hell the screw will go into metal stud without impact driver.. I bought one and used it... anybody...

If you need more than a few, your way better off buying angle iron and a cattle panel and spend 2 hours making ones that are 4' long and 50" wide. I made 4 for less than $75.

Each support bar goes along a single stud. That makes the width between support arms a multiple of your stud spacing. Ideally you don't want the support at the very edge of the platforms. So with 16"...

This doesn't fit well if you have ceiling joists spaced at 16, 18 or 24 inches apart. I had to add a cross brace in my attic to allow this the hit a stud. They make a 48" version get that instead

They are sturdy. Just try to keep weight evenly distributed. I've had the bigger size that holds 500 pounds and they store seasonal bins, toilet paper, etc. These are great but if you have the room...
