It's really not up to me. If I lived alone, I could have a chromecast in the kitchen and be done with it. My wife and kids both use youtube the most so the Fire Tv won't work if they don't fix this....

I would argue that it's more than 2% of FTV users that rely on youtube. Hell, there are tons of people that rely on youtube for their sole source of income so I'm sure they will feel the effects too....

i agree. i'm a HUGE yt fan. but it might be true that yt is only desired by 2% of the fire tv audience and likely won't be missed. if it's much much bigger, amazon will hear about it hopefully.
