My 2 cents ......
A high quality panel is infinitely more important than Dolby Vision compatibility. Having DV compatibility won't do you any good if the panel cannot display all those highlights....

I believe it reverts to standard UHD/4K. If the TV isn't super bright and colorful to begin with, there's no huge benefit to HDR.

Makes you wonder why Vizio is discounting these TV's so much. Maybe they have big plans for 2018. More dimming zones and a native 120 Hz panel would be a good start.
