You can also sell many of the digital copies for $7-9, effectively getting the Blu-rays for free. I normally don't join clubs (oh Columbia House....) but the DMC is a legit deal if you're interested...

I had this happen (over 3000 points expired) last year - I called and asked nicely and they reinstated the points. YMMV, but unless they're changed the policy this should work.
