I have 2 pi's setup with the controller software, works great so far. (only been doing it a few days after I saw the last deal on this). Run pi-hole and controller sw on same Pi and is working great....

If you're already running a controller 24/7 on the google cloud platform, I would assume you gain nothing. I'm assuming that you can keep stats, etc. from your cloud platform?
