doubtful. apparently it can deal with some ambient light, but open windows with bright sunlight are no projectors friend. also, from what i've read it doesn't do real hdr and input lag is very high....

the first model benq will release for 4k (w1700/w2500) will use the smaller dmds 0.47", so it's better to wait hold off even longer if considering benq

In the product specifications, the UHD60 says that it supports 1440p-1556 resolutions, just in case you your video card isn't up for the task. The Vivitek does not in it's spec, but not saying that...
