Right. That is why I'm suspicious that BenQ refurb projectors which I've heard quite often arrive with under 10 hours of lamp usage according to the menu might be older bulbs which have had the lamp...

My HT2050 came with less than 10 hours of bulb usage (lamp hours), but I posted/asked many times (and never got an answer) if that's a legitimate number because anyone can easily reset the lamp hours...

The bulbs were key for me. They're available for about $65 pretty much anywhere at any time, cheap enough that I don't have to worry about when and how often I use the projector. That's not a luxury...

Six color rainbow wheels like the ht2050 apparently really minimize it but honestly the Epson ht2150 deal is a no brainer if you saw rainbows once then that’s the safer choice for sure

I'm tempted to jump on the HT2050, but it's only $629 new on Amazon. Considering you're getting a new bulb versus a who knows how used bulb, wouldn't it be smarter to buy new?

I have never bought a BenQ monitor before. Been mostly either Dell or Asus. Any slickdealers here have consistent issues with BenQ monitors?
Appreciate the help. Thanks.
