Impulse bought MH530FHD for $372. Some concerns/curiosities: will the rainbow effect be awful? I weighed buying this vs the 1070 in same price range, but 1070 sold out as soon as I added it to...

Right. That is why I'm suspicious that BenQ refurb projectors which I've heard quite often arrive with under 10 hours of lamp usage according to the menu might be older bulbs which have had the lamp...

My HT2050 came with less than 10 hours of bulb usage (lamp hours), but I posted/asked many times (and never got an answer) if that's a legitimate number because anyone can easily reset the lamp hours...

Another SDer wrote this: I wouldn't recommend a 1080p monitor for word processing, it doesn't have enough vertical space. You'd be much happier with something UHD, like QHD or 4K. 1080p monitors...

The bulbs were key for me. They're available for about $65 pretty much anywhere at any time, cheap enough that I don't have to worry about when and how often I use the projector. That's not a luxury...

Yup, was about to buy dual. Man it's hard to find 27 @ about 100. I'm kicking myself not picking up the staples one on black friday.

Six color rainbow wheels like the ht2050 apparently really minimize it but honestly the Epson ht2150 deal is a no brainer if you saw rainbows once then that’s the safer choice for sure

Interesting to see people mention that "rainbow wheel" is still a problem with DLP. Haven't used a projector in about 6 years, but they ones we had were DLP. When I moved my eyes around the screen...

I've had/used lots of Ultrasharps. I purchased a 32" 4k IPS benq refurb earlier this year for ~$520. The light isn't super even, but it's the biggest monitor I've had so far, that might come with the...

I'm tempted to jump on the HT2050, but it's only $629 new on Amazon. Considering you're getting a new bulb versus a who knows how used bulb, wouldn't it be smarter to buy new?

I have never bought a BenQ monitor before. Been mostly either Dell or Asus. Any slickdealers here have consistent issues with BenQ monitors? Appreciate the help. Thanks.

I can barely tell the difference between the W1070 and HT2050. They are both great projectors. I use the W1070 most of the time in a dark basement on a 120" motorized screen (which stays down most of...
