I think they have a canoe/kayak carrier you can buy at Dicks, Its a foam system with straps. I think its 30 - 40 dollars. Thats the easy way out but would depend on how often you plan to transport it...

Yup I just did so the price actually came down to $120 w/tax. Just printed off a 25% off coupon and they honored it on this. So $120, Im thinking I might take a ride back and pick up another for that...
