I double check the power and it turns out after some time the power draw gets to normal level, almost nothing. I guess this isn't an issue after all

Returned this piece of garbage monitor and picked up a new 27'' 144hz IPS freesync with zero blb for $379. Uses the same panel as the pg279q which I returned because of blb.

I have used a 1080P IPS for 4 years so I can't go to this monitor but it is good for gaming. I also think people don't know what a good IPS can look like. Like the Asus ones. It is superior.

Yes, I gave up on this company and Open Box! I would suggest if you do get a brand new one and an open box then return the open box if its messed up. Or if you have the credit to even buy 3 of them...

Where the hdmi and displayport is there is the serial number and it says when it was manufactured and the Rev and outside the box i think there is a barcode there should be the Rev
