Works fine in dimly lit. I have 2 and work in the dark. Brightness set to around 10 for a ~80-90 cd/m2. Calibrated with spyderpro and displaycal

Yes, it works just fine. You will see 1080p resolution is all. Since it's not native, it could get blurry.
