You might have chosen a higher end receiver like this one..if you wanted a "one box " solution...and it does pretty good( for an AVR) in all channels driven tests...

The 1070 is more than sufficient if you plan on staying 7.1 or 5.1.2. Only get the 2070 if you plan on doing 5.1.4 channel Atmos/DTS:X.
