Cabela's regular price on this knife is $24.99 so in my opinion it is not a SD. If it goes on sale for under $20 I willbuy one. It seems like a nice simple pocket knife that is well built.

AUS-8 on the Tuff lite is very comparable to 8cr13mov. I would not necissarily rank one over the other. Both are well regarded knives. The pilar is going to feel like a more expensive knife...

Did you try tightening the hinge screw? Not saying this is you, but sooooo many folks complain about blade play or stiff deployment and never think to adjust or lubricate the knife.

looks like a great blade for the price but I have too many knives. Plus I usually just carry a blur or a pm2 and thats pretty much it now a days.

Based on camelcamelcamel....this is $0.58 higher than the lowest it ever was, which was last week. I already have the squid, which is a shorter blade than this, but good find!
