thank god this isn't a strap to hold you up while mountain climbing. um, most straps you buy are made in China even other name brands.

i've been using this strap for years, they key is ensuring that the rubber gasket is snug up to the camera the camera will be secure. FYI.. my gear is worth several k... and i've never had a problem...

Yeah not sure I would trust at $8 strap to secure my camera and lens. This is something that quality is worth the cost on. Check out Peak Design for quality.
