That functionality is built into the Ecobee and would be expected. The terrible refresh rate comes into play when the sensors are used as motion sensors within SmartThings.

I couldn't tell you based in my short term experience. But if it is 20 minutes then you would be correct. Even the 3 and 4 minute refresh rates of some sensors is not acceptable

You can run different scenarios where if one or two rooms are off either up or down it will run longer to compensate. Also since it logs the temps and humidity it is really handy for pin pointing...

What do the sensors do if you only have two zones controlled by two different ecobees? It’s not like it can heat/cool one room without negatively impacting the other?
