Yeah I decided to bite the bullet on the TS 9010 late last night. It was really the paper and the price of inexpensive generic inks that put me over the top though it's kind of a buzz kill knowing...

Yes, I understand that. Let's think about the compatible ink price. Compatible ink for MX922: $19 for 24 packs. There are more cheaper inks. Compatible ink for TS9020: $12 for 6 packs. Do not...

If you don't print photos that much go with MX922. TS9020 has better photo quality. Because MX922: 5 ink, big size, FAX TS9020(9120): 6 ink, small size

You are right that ink costs more. However if you buy generic it's only 2x more... and eventually the price will come down. Newer printers and carts will always carry a premium.

Yeah, I don't think this has a hinge on to allow that. I'll see if I remember to double check tonight and come back to let you know. I'm pretty sure I would have felt some type of give when opening...

Yeah, that's what i meant by up/down - some scanners have a hinge that can move up/down in the base, to allow closing the lid on thicker things

I used the scanner the other day but I was just scanning some single sheets. I'm not sure what you mean by "up/down" but the lid can open completely vertical. You can lay a book on the glass but you...
