For your 2 year old, I would recommend keeping the 6v. Being that I have almost four year old twins, the 6v will be alittle slow for them. It also depends on the weight of your child.

I drove 45 min to Elk Grove in IL because the inventory said they had 3, they had zero. On my back home stopped by the Romeoville Walmart whose inventory showed zero and after wandering around...
