Amazon has those telescoping carbon fiber rods for pretty cheap, 20ish they aren't very durable but they pack down small and are cheap(not as cheap as this but still cheap)

That's a spinning combo in the pic, not a spincast combo. A spincasting reel has a closed face, like most Zebcos.
