Got one, the review with a video convinced me. Edited: Just used this yesterday. It worked really well on my chow mix and husky mix dogs. It did not come with any oil.

I believe these cant get as close to the skin as human ones can, plus the tips aren’t as sharp/pointed. so chances of nicking/jabbing your pet’s skin should be a lot smaller.

I'm actually wondering the same thing. My son's hair is extremely thick, cordless clipper always snag and pull his hair. If "pet" clippers are stronger, I may go this route. Thoughts?
