So it seems like it should work. The GE72 should have 3 M.2 slots. You should call to verify that you can fit the full size nvme and not the smaller 42mm ones only.

I don't think NVMe enclosures for USB exist. Go with a SATA III drive (either m.2 or 2.5") instead, since it will be connected to the Xbox One X over USB 3.0.
