Will this work for my ps4? Or is it a bad idea? I see it says formatted for Windows and also can format for Mac. But thats all I really know about it.

I had a WD external drive with one of those 2.5 inch drive in them that you can't ripped out, after a year I have problem transferring files, but another drive I bought at same time still works. ...

Spinning Hard-drive fails eventually ... Seagate's external drives fail more ...had so many EXPANSION external drives failed in first few weeks with famous C2D "Click to Death" problem.

Just had a WD 4TB, 2 years old, failed on me. WD = no failure is a myth. I don't trust either manufacturer.

I'm curious about this, myself. The spec sheet doesn't say. It has been my experience, however, that Seagate externals have the Barracuda series drives in them; this is probably no different.
