I tried both Yongnuo and Canon 50mm in my photography class. The Yongnuo copy was amazingly good. My only problem with it is that it's all plastic. Just don't drop it. Edit: The Canon is plastic...

There are tons of videos on youtube by professionals comparing these two lenses. Spoiler: none of the reviews suggested significant quality issues to non professional naked eyes. Thats good enough...

I bought the Yongnuo 50mm 1.8 from Amazon last month for my T6 and I and surprised and please with what it can do. Definitely a better deal at half the price unless you really want to pixel-peep....
