This doesn't seem like that good of a deal for a "generic" brand 600A jump starter. I'm constantly seeing the low to mid $50.00 price point on these, sometimes even lower from other "name" brands.

Do you use them in sub freezing temps? And if so, have they been stored in sub freezing temps?
as for metal clamps, they have a cover just like any conventional jumper cables... no spark/short...

haven't had a set break yet on the 5 aukey versions I bought with similar clamps(own a dealership and use them weekly)
