You probably have not stayed at a Park Hyatt and neither a St. Regis....
Just because you read thepointsguy that doesnt mean you know about points.
Spg points are the best no questions ask for...

You’re now just cherry picking at this point. Why not look at the W Maldives which is a cat 7 resort for 20k spg points? Instead u choose the st Regis, park hyatt does not compare at all to st Regis....

Yes. That is the best use of spg points. I also value a lot spg moments. They have a lot of good stuff in there.

I dont think you know much about the spg program. Cat 7 is their "maximum" for "standard room hotels". They charge a lot more for inspirational places. Even at 30k points it is still too much...

Yup! Pretty easy to rack up when u take advantage of the credit card sign up offers. 80k for Marriott and 25k for SPG then convert it to 75k Marriott, total 155k!
