The Pro controller is definitely worth it. Also a charging grip is worth it for keeping the JoyCons charged. It also acts as a secondary controller for 2 player. Imo is a perfect pair to a Pro...

Its definitely over priced but the joy con buttons are so small it digs into my thumb after prolong use. 2nd the placment is also bad for switching between the stick and the buttons, especially my...

Yep. I'm a relatively large guy with large-ish hands, but to me the pro controller is great while the joy cons feel designed for kids.

Agreed. Do you think that the joy con buttons are annoyingly small compared to other controllers?

I get that. I just vastly prefer the pro controller, and even if I didnt have it, I would just use the joy cons without the grip. Obviously not everyone agrees.

It's for people who don't or can't buy the expensive pro controller, but still want a generic controller feel, which I like the concept of, but will buy the pro controller ASAP. I am a huge fan of...

I like the generic controller feel, so for me I'll prolly get the pro controller if it goes down to $50. This grip is cool though, as u can joy cons, while playing (and not being on tablet mode)

Should've used that 30% Google Express promo. I paid $55 total after CA tax. anyways I do also enjoy using the grips, the pro control is light years better tho.

I don't dislike it? It's better than joy-con alone (or maybe I'm just used to the standard controller feel) but I'm sure the pro controller is probably better. I don't have one of those yet though...

I get that (kind of), I'm just thinking that I prefer to hold the joy cons separately vs. in the grip. I realize that my preference may not be everyone's preference.

For people who don't want to pay the absurd costs of the controller. At least the joy con can be detached for flexibility with this grip and it's about the same costs - except you're technically...

Oh ok. Well let me ask you this: is the pro controller really worth buying comparing to joy cons? I have big hands and I haven't experiencing any cramps or tension on my fingers when using the...

If you don't want to spend the money for a pro controller, there are adapters for the switch that can accommodate the Dualshock 4 or Xbox One controllers on the switch. They're cheap and rumble plus...

Bought a comfort, non-charging grip for about $7 off Amazon in January that I feel is adequate. Don’t think I can bring myself to get the pro controller due to the $60-70 price tag.

Do people really enjoy using the grips? I use the pro controller whenever possible, and the joy cons without the grip when I need to. What's the use case for the grip?
