Depends on what you do. At 120GB most people are going to use it for OS boot and a few applications in which case you'd notice no difference. If you're doing video editing or installing AAA game...

If I had to guess I would say its $129.99 or $119.99 for an Evo 960 @ 256gb (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LYFKX41/) I'm unfamiliar with Evo 950, is that the same as the Evo 950 pro? $440 for...

Most people would still save these slots for actual drives that function at 3500/2500 mbs read/write. What's a 250gb Evo 950 ? $95

If the cost is no different (and in this case, it doesn't seem to be), why not? 120gb in a 2.5 SSD isn't markedly cheaper.

Why pay for SATA in the nvme format. It's no where near the speeds of true M.2 nvme drives.

I've deployed 50-60 of these units and have 8-10 units on my desk that died between a few days and 9 months after installation. Be careful. Luckily for me they were in RAID-1 configs.

That's a problem since m.2 is the form factor. NVME is always at a premium, < $40 for $120GB doesn't sound like premium pricing to me.
