The rope is from some old ski rope I had lying around, 1/2 diameter...it doesn't have any effect on the chocks. Sure makes un-chocking a lot easier.

I did. But it doesn't look like the honeycomb holes go through from one side to the other... in those pics at least. But if you put the rope through it top to bottom like that, doesn't the chock lay...

You may be comfortable getting under a vehicle with folding chocks, but I would rather not have a fail point already built in to something I'm trusting with my life.

I got them with the package deal as well. I'm using them as plain chocks on pavement, and are working fine.

You are correct. I have these and they are really designed to be used with the levelers. There is a cutout for them to fit. If used without, they would most likely work, but would sit crooked, and...

The blocks aren't solid cubes...they are like a honey comb/cellular pattern. Did you even look at the pics?

How did you thread a rope through them if they don't have any holes? Drilled your own 1/2" hole through em? Not worried about that sacrificing integrity/capacity of the blocks?

Maybe I should point out that it looks like these chocks are made as a piece of a whole leveling system. And while you might not be using them for leveling, the bottoms might be shaped in such a way...

These are nice. I threaded a rope thru them so they are easy to grab and pull away from camper.
