alright if anyone cares/still looking. I got the bike, had a pro set it up and rode it. Bike is really nice. Breaks are really smooth! Got a small and I'm 5'6 and its not too small or too large....

Hydraulic brakes and better suspension is great and generally makes for a better ride. But none of this matters if you dont like mountain biking.
I think you can go cheaper for less bike...

If you are a bigger person don't cheap out on a bike. I bent my stock crankset on my 6KU fixie riding up hills. Normal sized individuals should be fine.
