My MIL has ST, she broke her phone. This says "with purchase of a plan", does this have to be used on an actual new account or could I buy it and use the $45 reload on her current plan?

2gb of ram doesn't cut it any more on bloated Android apps,sorry to say.. you need at least 3gb ram.. these are entry level phones for kids and elderly

Their unlock policy basically makes the phones locked. It requires a year of service with a card bought every single month. Insane.

lol, 5.1. All phone with similar price I have seen are on 6.0. Don't ever expect it will ever upgrade to 6 or 7.
