Late reply: it didn’t drop out of my hands, and isn’t any more slippery than the iPhone itself.
And with the price I’d repair for the back-glass being what it is, I’d rather not take the chance.

Unsure why all the hate; this case has already saved my phone from two drops (between 4 and 5 feet both times). The only downside is that it’s pretty slippery. Silky smooth, but OH man is it slippery.
