The TR games have a lot more actual game play than say uncharted. As much as they uncharted series is lauded....how much actual GAMEPLAY did you participate in and how many cut scenes did you watch?

It used to be pretty much every game, but they've cut that back tremendously. It seems like last year there were only 6 or so titles that received the pre-order bonus. So I'm definitely grateful...

Although I'm a huge fan of the last two Tomb Raider games, I really don't buy non Nintendo games that release around September, as they are typically on sale shortly during Black Friday.

I don't know if it is typical; used to be able to just trade it in days after release.
4-6 weeks later the game will be on sale and trade ins will be next to worthless.
