Identical hardware, but as I mentioned earlier, the 6K has extra features enabled (hardware encryption, vPro support). Presumably, encryption should not affect performance.

Do you have to use encryption with this? Will it work as a boot drive in my old Z68 2500K system if I inject NVME support into my bios and use an adapter? This is really cheap for an NVME drive.
