​My wife uses both on her black lab guide dog. She recently got the Furminator and has been raving about how much more hair it gets out (it is a de-shedding tool, after all).

Yes I’d say it has the same effect on a smooth haired dog anyway (boxer, greyhound, dachshund). I’d say the zoom groom is more versatile because it can be used to help get dead hair off in the bath...

I have both. The Zoomgroom is more for like daily brushing. The Furminator is more for once a week use because it actually cuts the hair and can be painful if used too often. The Zoomgroom is perfect...

It is always at this price. Or at least when I got it a few weeks ago it was the same price as now. Still, this is a very good brush. Our Husky loves it 🐶
